Carefully measure the resin and hardener as per the instructions provided on our label. Use separate containers for each part before mixing them together. Stir the mixture thoroughly until it is fully uniform, ensuring a consistent blend.
Using a brush, roller, or spreader, apply the mixture to your fiberglass material. Make sure to cover all areas evenly, working quickly but carefully to ensure an even coat. Pay special attention to corners and edges to avoid any weak spots.
Our non-toxic, marine grade UV resin will soft gel in 3 hours at 20mils and be dry to the touch in 12 hours at 77°F. The full cure time for our products is 7 days. Epoxy resin is temperature sensitive and will take longer to cure in cool temperatures. The ideal curing temperature for our products is 70°-80°F (21°-27°C) maintained for the first 24 hours.
Once the resin is fully cured, you can proceed with sanding any rough edges, painting, or polishing your project to achieve a professional finish. The cured resin will be hard and durable, ready to withstand the demands of your project.
